Polytron IR 334 - SIL2 compatible

The Dräger Polytron IR 334 is an explosion proof gas detector for continous monitoring of combustible gases and vapours in the ambient air. The transmitter is built for the harsh offshore environment (SS316 enclosure) and it features extreme reliability. SIL 2 systems can easily be designed with the Dräger Polytron IR 334, as it contributes only marginally to the total PFD-value of a complete SIL 2 system.

The unit is designed for one-man calibration, and offers a variety of diagnostics and self test functions. The configuration and calibration of the transmitter is menu guided and easy to perform, using a HART hand held terminal.
Polytron IR EX

The Polytron IR Ex is a gas detector for continuous monitoring of combustible gases and vapors in ambient air. The measuring range for these substances is typically 0 - 100 %LEL, for some it can be set as low as 0 - 1000 ppm or as high as 0 - 100 Vol%.

The transmitter uses state-of-the-art microprocessor technology to convert the signal from an infrared DraegerSensor® to a 4 to 20 mA analog signal output.

The unit is designed for one-man calibration, and offers a variety of diagnostics and self test features. The configuration and calibration of the transmitter is menu guided and easy to perform, using the built-in push buttons.
Polytron IR Ex ES

The Polytron IR Ex ES is a gas detector for continuous monitoring of combustible gases and vapors in ambient air. The measuring range for these substances is typically 0 - 100 %LEL, for some it can be set as low as 0 - 3000 ppm or as high as 0 - 10 Vol%. With an enhanced sensitivity feature it allows to monitor even lower concentrations than Polytron IR Ex.

Polytron IR Ex HC

The Polytron IR Ex HC is a gas detector for continuous monitoring of combustible gases and vapors in ambient air. The measuring range for is typically 0 - 100 %LEL.

The transmitter uses state-of-the-art microprocessor technology to convert the signal from an infrared DraegerSensor® to a 4 to 20 mA analog signal output.

Polytron IR Ex IL

The Polytron IR Ex IL is a gas detector for continuous monitoring of combustible gases and vapors in situ (in-line) of a gas stream. The rugged stainless steel measuring chamber has two ½" NPT openings to connect piping to the sensor. The measuring range for combustible gases and vapors is typically 0 - 100%LEL, for some it can be set as low as 0 - 1000 ppm or as high as 0 - 100 Vol%.
